Ive had gripper 1 & 2 but in my own opinion gripper 2 works best for me coz its tapered compared to the slim or parallel one in gripper 1. If the gripper 2 would be a little bit 1mm more in barrel diameter then it could've been perfect for me coz i tend to hold the barrel halfway towards touching the end of the front load of the barrel thus giving me additional grip! The other downside of it which i experienced is sometimes injurying my middle finger bec of the pen hold. I hold it firmly and frequent plays or practice will injure or scrape a bit of your middle finger skin bec of firm grip + a slight rub. Yet overall, it's a good dart if u want to level up ur game! For me, if its just 1mm more thick in diam and a purists grip then it couldve been perfect for me!
